EvalPartners Peer-to-Peer Grants Program Call for Proposals - 2016

Thanks to a generous support from the Government of Finland, EvalPartners invites Voluntary Organizations for Professional Evaluation (VOPEs) to apply for Peer to Peer grants for implementation of partnership projects jointly developed by at least two VOPEs.  The idea is to encourage two or more VOPEs to form mutually beneficial partnerships with each other to promoted shared advice and learning.

The deadline for proposal submission is September 15, 2016 midnight GMT-12.

Request for Proposals - UNAIDS Evaluation in East and Southern Africa

The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder to carry out the End of Project Evaluation to assess whether Regional Support Team for Eastern and Southern Africa (UNAIDS RST ESA) is achieving impact through its programme titled “Expanded Accelerated AIDS Response towards HLM Targets and Elimination Commitments in ESA Region 2013 – 2017’. 

High Level Political Forum side events: Evaluation in the service of the SDGs, 13 July 2016

The launch of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the International Year of Evaluation give the global community a significant opportunity to bring evaluation to the forefront of the new Sustainable Development Goals.

Seizing this opportunity, representatives across sectors took part in two official side events of the High Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development on 13 July 2016, at UNICEF Headquarters in New York.

The Independent Evaluation Office (IEO) of UNDP, as part of its ongoing support to national evalution capacity development, is developing an Evaluation Diagnostic Guidance for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The main objective of the Diagnostic Guidance is to facilitate a national evaluation framework for the SDGs and inform country led evaluation processes and systems which are central to the follow-up and review of the SDGs.

The Claremont Evaluation Center and EvalPartners, with financial support from The Rockefeller Foundation, are proud to announce the creation of a scholarship fund to financially support evaluators working in, or originally from, a country located in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia, or East and Central Europe (non EU countries), and the Middle East to attend the on-line 2016 Professional Development Workshop Series on Evaluation and Applied Research Methods to be held on 18 - 23 August 2016
