Call for Proposals for 2018 AEA International Travel Awards

The American Evaluation Association (AEA)  and the International and Cross-Cultural Evaluation Topical Interest Group (ICCE TIG) are pleased to invite professional evaluators living and practicing in developing countries to submit applications for International Travel Awards to attend and present at the 2018 AEA Annual Conference. The conference is scheduled for October 29 - November 3, 2018 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

This year we anticipate awarding nine International Travel Awards of up to $2,000 USD each. In addition to the funds, awardees also receive waived conference registration, pre/post conference workshops, and AEA membership. The awards may be used to cover travel costs (flights, visas, etc.), food, and shared accommodations. Please note that awards are paid out as reimbursement of documented expenses and are paid only to those who are selected, who attend, and who make the anticipated presentation.

EvalPartners Peer-to-Peer Grants Program - Call for Proposals - 2018

EvalPartners invites VOPEs to apply for Peer to Peer grants for implementation of partnership projects jointly developed by at least two VOPEs. The idea is to encourage two or more VOPEs to form mutually beneficial partnerships with each other to promote shared advice and learning.

The deadline for proposal submission is March 5, 2018 midnight GMT-12. The summary table indicating winning proposals will be published no later than March 31, 2018.

Request for Proposals: Evaluation of Oxfam’s work to increase citizen engagement and influence on agriculture policies and practices in Burkina Faso and Tanzania

The purpose of the evaluation is to better understand the progress made and lessons learned in influencing policymakers and creating space for citizen engagement and influence on agriculture policies and practices in two of the core countries where this work is taking place - Burkina Faso and Tanzania. The primary audiences for the evaluation will be Oxfam staff and core partners1 who are part of the agriculture advocacy and active citizenship work in Burkina Faso and Tanzania, as well as other countries in Africa. Secondary audiences include Oxfam management, other Oxfam teams engaging in this type of work, and Oxfam funders.
